Hello,

My name as you now know is George Heron and I am thrusting myself into the world of acting.

​

As a young man in my teens I found that I had a created side to me.

​

At the age of 16 I left school and joined the Royal Navy, and it was whilst serving that I really grew up and began to take life seriously. I served for 10yrs and by the time I was due to leave the service I was a manager and leader and had gained skills in lots of 'secret' stuff.

​

After the Navy came my Police Career and I spent 22 wonderful years plodding the beat and chasing down the 'baddies'. I retired a few years ago and since then I have built and developed my own online business, created and ran 2 community radio stations and scripted 2 books that are now in publication.

​

I also entered the Ian La Frenais & Dick Clement script writing award for new talent in 2020 and got myself into the running as a finalist.

​

My creative side has led me to script my very own sitcom, this was taken up by a stage company and was a sell out on when staged in July 2022. 

​

I have always wanted to be on TV, and my lucky break came in early 2023 when I was selected as one of Eight actors for the brand new BBC2 Show 'Bring the Drama'. I was lucky enough to be able to act on TV with some well established actor and on the set of some of the BBC's iconic shows such as Eastenders, Casualty, Peaky Blinders and more.
